I love it! I lived in the CA central valley for many years, and later in the South SF Bay. You did a really great job catching the colors of late CA summer. There's a familiar yellow-brown that takes me back to driving over the hills to Los Gatos.
I forgot to add. It's inspiring to hear about your process and determination on finishing a big self-driven/non-paid work like this. Sometimes I look at the partial personal projects I have and feel like I'll never get around to finishing them. This gives me hope and tactics to consider 😁
The length of time to finish personal works (or even get to starting them!) has lengthened over the years. I just keep them simmering along and eventually one gets finished here and there.
