As I enjoy working in series, while at the retreat where I painted, “Decidua,” I also chatted with artist Daren Bader about extending that piece into a series, and decided to go for it. Contrasting Decidua’s autumnal visuals, Winter would match with my December offering for Every Day Original, but as snow came early that year and I was plenty excited about continuing the series, I did the next one the following month instead, in November.
