August '25 Commission Slots
Paid subscribers get extra
Commission slots will always be public posts. Paid subscribers will get access to additional opportunities below the paywall. Sign up as a paid subscriber to gain access to these, and to continue seeing the daily posts!
With Art of the Day now up and running for paid subscribers, this is the first month where they will get access to commission slots apart from the public ones. This will usually be the case each month, going forward. If you end up being a paid subscriber just for access to those, I’m sure you’ll find the deluge of other art in the daily posts will be a great bonus.
I’m doing a lot of travel in September (see Events, above!) so I’m going to keep it safe—remember, the system here is that commissions ordered today will be in the mail by the time September’s commissions open up! No more months-long waits.
Sketch commissions are rendered in pencil, ink and/or acrylic, and the back of the proof may get a clear primer to facilitate reception of media, especially on newer cards.
Painted commissions are rendered in acrylic and/or oil paint on surfaces prepared to accept paint, and varnished using the same materials as for my finished illustrations.
You may mail in your already-purchased card when you secure a slot. Let me know on checkout and I’ll provide an address. Please put it in the mail promptly to keep the schedule flowing!
Otherwise, if you secure a slot, you should then go back and purchase the proof you’d like art on, and let me know in the comments (this will save you time on checkout to try to grab a slot).
Update 7:07AM: the public commissions are gone! The black and white commission for paid members is still available. Upgrade and grab it!
Update 11:06: All of August’s commissions are gone! Paid subscribers got 4 hours extra to pick that one up! Upgrade and sleep in next month! (Not really, but better odds)
