Get bent

I played the tabletop version of Battletech precisely once, with a friend who painted miniatures. I also played Mechwarrior 2 on the PC back in the Pentium days. That was the extent of my exposure to this world before doing a few illustrations for the short-lived card game version.

You might think that big robots are quite a stretch for me, and it’s true that within my overall ouevre, they are a rarity and probably not something I would have wanted to devote years to painting. But, growing up I loved the Transformers toy line, and would copy the box art illustrations for them constantly. I probably copied a good 20 or so of them.
