D&D: The Faceless Villain (2007)
The villain strikes twice
It hasn’t been too often that I’ve had a sketch submission get sent back to the drawing board for a restart. When it’s happened, usually a very different approach is required. In this case, it felt a little picky.
What you see is what the description read as. Some Lord of his Estate or whatever is lounging by his fire, seems to have been burning correspondence. He is found deceased, a calling card in the form of a rose left on him. Simple enough, and the sort of image where there aren’t infinite possibilities since many aspects of the image were locked in by the specifics of the assignment.
