Not quick enough
You can purchase this art as an Elk 3/3 Token here.
At Magic: the Gathering events, one of the products I have at my table are token cards. These are usable in Magic and represent things on the board that there aren’t card representations of, otherwise. In the past people might have used dice or other things to represent these, and Wizards does make their own tokens in limited numbers. But since they can be anything, artists also make their own, and they are a great way to customize decks, and as there is a long history of art-series trading cards that predates Magic, also serve as a way to collect an artist’s work in small form. Since I definitely view my own as also collectible art cards, I keep the design minimal and unobtrusive.
They work like this: if an action in the game allows you to create, say, a lion creature under your control, you need a representation of that lion. So, a token card of a lion is useful for that purpose.
So, we tend to watch to see what new tokens are appearing in the game, and if there’s time we’ll produce some to bring. At an event, a fairly broken new card was allowing players to generate a whole lot of Elk. When players continually asked if I had Elk tokens, I figured it might be a good idea to have one, so I quickly sought to make one before the next event.
