When I Used to Make More Me Time
2014 was the fifth year running of attending an annual fall painting retreat. A number of professional illustrators gather together Monday-Friday, and work in a big common area, take meals together and so on. I attended from 2010-2019, and it was an amazing highlight of each year. You’d think I would get blasé about it, but it’s still a pinch-me sort of experience to have been involved in.
