How I spent 2020
By this time I was winding down my time contributing to the online gallery, Everyday Original. Sometimes I had specific things I wanted to use my spot there for, but often it was a chance to indulge in something small and simple that I would not give myself the opportunity to do otherwise. So it is was here.
I had just come off a long, hectic string of work for the book, “The Spider Who Saved Christmas.” That work was rendered in warm and cool grays, then scanned and finished digitally. Having just wrapped up that project on a Monday, it was going to be time to transition back to my usual full-color painted work. But I wondered what I could do with that idea once more, for myself.
