This era of Magic’s story placed a comical focus on the Goblin character, Squee. Squee got a little ahead of himself in the Mercadian Masques set, and enjoyed for a time being viewed as Elite Status for reasons beyond my lore knowledge. So his portrayals in this set tended to have him in robes and other regalia.

Crumbling Sanctuary appeared in the Mercadian Masques expansion of Magic: the Gathering.

I have mentioned that my workflow has gone in distinct phases. This phase was the do a more detailed drawing straight onto the board, and when approved just paint over it, one. That phase didn’t last too long for the obvious reasons that it’s both nice to have a drawing apart from the painting, but also because this only accommodates minor tweaks. Minor tweaks are of course the norm, if changes are required at all. But in the event that you have to make major tweaks or just start again, it’s really painful.
