Sharing work across two images
In a way, work for Tomb of Aclazotz was more important than for Tarrian’s Journal. Essentially, the Journal illustration is contained within the Tomb illustration, so it was almost a byproduct of the pre-work done while designing the Tomb illustration.
The tomb image was to take place in an environment with niches around the wall, each of which would have an armored and clothed skeleton in it. They would probably all be crumped heaps by now like the one at left, but let’s pretend the stiff armor kept a couple generally upright as they were leaned against the interior walls.
