Analysis Paralysis (1998)
Going nowhere
As an illustrator, and maybe more than other folks, the topic of analysis paralysis comes up constantly. As discussed elsewhere, the choosing of compositions when there are practically infinite arrangements makes the early stages of creation difficult. It’s always easier to execute an idea than to come up with one.
But beyond image-making, life finds a way to throw so many forking paths in your road. It’s quite possible of course to stop from making a choice, but life goes on and the refusal to choose still has you moving forward through life, but you find you get nowhere.
